new to digiscopeing how i am getting on
Hi out there i have had my new scope and camrea for 4 weeks.it is a opticron IS70wp with a sdl eye peice and a sumsung nv 15 camera i am getting on with it very well i have trid to take photo off all sorts on things to try to get used to setting it up. The thing i found difficult was trying to see the LED screen in the sun so i got my wife to make me something to help she made me a cap with some cloth sitch to the peck so when i am looking at the LED i put it over the camera and scope and when i do not need it .it just lays on my back it also keeps the sun off of me it works very well .I have put some photos in the digiscoping and dslr gallery taken by me alan preston if you would like to have a look i will let you know how i get on though the summer .

Search Lens shades, you can get them from a few quid upwards. I use the Xtend-a-View from Photosolve, it works extremely well. I have info about it here http://digiscoper.org/blog/shades/ and here

They come with velco to attach to the camera but I have never found it strong enough! I use an Extend-A-Mount bracket from them which holds it in place. I have bought from them 3 times and always used dollars, I used Paypal and this converted it all no problem.
