Hi, just a newbie and see that there is not a lot of activity on the forum. Well I would just like to say hello to one and all.... My name is Alan, and I live in a town called Dalbeattie in the southwest of Scotland.

My equipment is as follows:

Fujifilm Finepix 6900 zoom
Canon 450D with 18-55mm IS (kit lens)
Tamron 70-300 mm LD
C-AF1 2x Teleplus MC7
Olivon T90ED Spotting Scope (digiscope)

Not sure how everything works lol but will post some pictures at some point. Using the digiscope with the Canon to get things going, as I do not know if the scope can be used with the Fuji???

Hope to hear from the forum soon.

Hi Alan

Welcome, looks like some nice kit you have there Very Happy
Looking forward to seeing your images, I am sort of between scopes at the moment and using a Lumix FZ8 at the moment. I have found most Digiscoping is best achivced with small digital cameras but I have have seen many good results using SLR and DSLR that are really good :-)
